Municipalities in Pennsylvania are responsible for the provision of emergency services by state law.
With sponsorship and support from Indiana County’s commissioners, representatives of townships and boroughs throughout the county are working to develop a countywide municipal emergency services authority to provide EMS on a sustainable basis.
